Pepper + Pistol launched 2006 in NYC by designers Silvia Hillmann and Katrin Wiens. Each collection tells a tale that illustrates whimsical fancy, fused with drama hidden in a multi-veiled fantasy world. Hailing from Germany and inspired by a famous children’s story, the name Pepper + Pistol reflects the combined force of two central elements: Fashion and Graphics. Hillmann has worked with Boudicca in London, Morgane le Fay in New York and various up and coming designers. Wiens has a background in the graphic design world and has created textiles for such brands as Just Cavalli, Heatherette, and Calvin Klein.
The tale of Pepper + Pistol is already making its presence known, fans include Roisin Murphy and Bat for Lashes’ Natasha Khan.
With the inception of each collection, a new story is spun into the fabrics. With every new season Pepper + Pistol continues to explore the depths of perspective and imagination, while always communicating endearing humor and fanciful mischief.
