Ladyboy is designed and run by Megan Gold and Robbie Williamson, both Los Angeles based designers and musicians who share a common vision that there is a hole in the market for shoes like Ladyboy.
The designers derive their inspiration from music, dance, modern art, lines, open spaces, transcending space & time, and a good challenge.
Ladyboys are not made in America because they would retail for $200.00. Megan and Robbie are advocates of high fashion at 'even me & you' prices. Therefore Ladyboys are made in China by a stand-up lady named Daicy Xiang in a loft style factory that has great ventilation, high ceilings, windowed walls, a basketball court, & shrines to Buddha, by workers that are protected by labor laws Caesar Chavez would be down with.
Daicy is not only a great person, she shreds at karaoke.
