Mommy Vs Daddy is the post-traumatic catharsis of the Brooklyn design duo John and Nancy. The two met in 2005, shortly after graduating high school, and thus set off to create a line of tees boasting unique and subversive graphics. Mommy vs Daddy was finally established in 2008. The designers find inspiration from their childhood and families. Imagery in their pieces range from dark and brooding to vibrantly loud, yet there is always a sense of impending violence.
